MBIS, MBISS A/C CH. FIVE OAKES V FOR VICTORY

Highlights 2008 - The Mini American Campaign

Oliver had a very successful year in 2008 both in Canada and the USA.

In Canada he did 3 all breed shows, and took multiple group placements including Group 2 at the Purina National with his darling Jr. Handler Ashley Martins. To cap the year off he won BISS at the Canadian National Specialty under breeder judge Joan Savage. In only 3 shows Oliver remains in the top five all breed English Setters in Canada, plus #1 in breed wins for the 3rd year in a row!

In the USA, Oliver started the year out winning Award of Merit at the ESAA Regional Specialty in New Jersey with Will Alexander, followed by multiple breed wins in Detroit and Syracuse. In May, Oliver teamed up with young Adam Bernardin for the prestigious Bucks and Trenton shows - winning breed both days with large entries of 24 and 40 English Setters. This was followed by numerous breed wins and group placements.

In only 10 shows Ollie is ranked #9 English Setter in the USA (all breed) and #11 in breed wins! This is an outstanding achievement considering the tough specials competition in the North Eastern Circuit; and in the group - 7 of the top American sporting dogs were campaigning for the same group placements. A thrill for us to be in that exalted company.
