Highlights 2006 - The(little)Canadian Campaign

#1 English Setter/#1 Sporting/#8 All Breed

2006 was our dream year! At just 3 years of age Oliver was #8 All Breed dog in Canada! He didn’t start his campaign until April and only did 2 or 3 shows a month.

His first BIS was in May with Tim Doxater at Forest City, followed by

another 5 BIS throughout the year.

Highlights include winning BISS at the ESCC Specialty in Long Sault (Butch MacDonald) followed by all breed BIS the same day (Enrique Filippini!

One of our proudest moments came in September at the Oakville Kennel Club. Ann Rogers Clark gave Oliver

Group First, and was there to see him win BIS #5 under John Connolly.

Sadly this was Annie’s last show and Oliver was the last English Setter she judged.

The thrill didn’t end....Group

2 at Show of Shows (for BIS dogs only), Best in Breed at Ovasa with

Bob Gilham (also Bob’s last show).

Bob was the first President of the

ESCC so that was a huge moment.

In 2006 - Oliver had 45 Group 1’s

out of 85 group placements, 6 BIS and

2 reserve BIS.

Specialty wins: BOS • ESCC National Specialty • Breeder/Judge Dick Fox

(this was particularly nice as Ollie’s half sister Izzy (MBISS A/C Ch. Kaska’s Isadora won the Breed and Dad Jodi won

AOM!!! All in the family!

Specialty Results:

BISS• ESCC Regional Specialty • Butch Macdonald

BOB• OVASA Specialty • Bob Gilham
